Wisconsin

I spent this past week at home in Wisconsin. I grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee, not too far inland from Lake Michigan. My mom lives in the same house I grew up in.

The weather during the week was colder than normal. I forgot to pack my winter riding clothes and running shoes so I only got one ride in.

Sunday and Monday though, were beautiful. Sunny and in the mid seventies. Sunday was spent with my sister and her family at Pewaukee Lake listening to a band and drinking tasty Stella Gin citrus infused shots. Hey, its Wisconsin!!

Monday my mother and I took in the Body Works exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Those not family, this shows plasticised bodies in action, and was incredibly interesting.

The rest of the week was spent catching up on my shopping and resting. Friday night the family gathered at the house and the week was over too quickly.
